Abstract: With increasing demand for localized cooling solutions and rising concerns over energy consumption, this project presents an Energy Efficient Portable Air Conditioner designed to deliver effective cooling with reduced power usage. The system operates on a refrigerant-based vapor compression cycle and integrates key components such as a compressor, evaporator, condenser, expansion device, and thermostat. The portable AC employs an optimized airflow path and thermostat-controlled compressor operation to minimize energy wastage while maintaining userdefined comfort levels. The compact and modular design allows easy transportation and installation, making it suitable for homes, offices, hostels, workshops, and temporary cooling applications. By combining intelligent temperature control, efficient heat exchange, and portability, this system provides a reliable and cost-effective alternative to conventional portable air-conditioning units.
