The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT: The present invention relates to endodontic instruments, and more particularly to a modified endodontic file designed to facilitate accurate working length determination using an electronic apex locator. Conventional hand tiles often present limitations in posterior regions with restricted mouth opening, where the use of longer instruments and stable attachment of apex locator clips becomes challenging. The proposed invention introduces a stmctural modification in the handle of the endodontic tile in the torm of an integrated slot or interface configured to receive and secure the electrode clip of an apex locator. This modification enables reliable electrical connectivity and stabilization of the measuring device even when shorter files are employed in limited access conditions. The design enhances clinical efficiency, improves accuracy of working length determination, and reduces procedural difficulty in patients with reduced interocclusal space. The invention may be applied to various endodontic file systems without altering the cutting efficiency or mechanical -properties of the .file. Thus, the modified-file-provides a simple, cost- effective, and-clinically-adaptable solution to improve endodontic instmmentation and apex localization.
