Abstract: This encoding method comprises: acquiring a plurality of vertices included in a three-dimensional mesh (S1561); generating a plurality of two-dimensional coordinates by projecting the plurality of vertices onto a two-dimensional plane (S1562); transforming the plurality of two-dimensional coordinates using a two-dimensional transformation on the basis of parameters (S1563); and generating a bitstream including the parameters (S1564). The plurality of two-dimensional coordinates obtained through the two- dimensional transformation are used to map the texture of the three-dimensional mesh.
