Abstract: The present invention discloses emulsified lipidic systems (ELS) designed to garnar large amounts of actives and help in their delivery, permeation, absorption, protection against degradation, stability and sustained release at the site or in systemic circulation. They are prepared by emulsifying the lipid phase comprising ine or more components viz. polymers, and co-solvents in addition to high melting lipid(s), waxes and oils with the aqueous phase containing suitable surfactant(s) and/or co- surfactant(s) dissolved or dispersed in water. These particles/nanoparticles/ ELS can engage actives (drugs, phytochemicals, natural extracts, clays, minerals, ayurvedic rasayans, proteins, peptides, cell extracts, metabolites, vitamins, retinoids, azoles, polymixins, postbiotics and live cells including probiotics) in the lipid core or shell, enhancing bio performance and protection of the actives. The controlled release properties ensure gradual and prolonged active release, optimizing therapeutic efficacy and minimizing side effects. Stability and biocompatibility make developed ELS suitable for oral, topical, dental, nasal, vaginal, and rectal delivery, presenting a promising solution for targeted drug delivery and personalized medicine. The developed ELS may have a cream or paste like to viscous to a free-flowing dispersion. The system may further be lyophilized to develop a solid dosage form, lozenges, gummies, jellies, batti, powder, or a free-flowing powder with or without use of cryoprotectants or other agents. It can also be redispersed or diluted to result in sprays, drops, nebulisers, pressure or metered dose products, elixirs, serums, hydrogels, emulgels, applications etc.
