MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641074901 A) filed by Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute Of Engineering &technology Vnrvjiet on June 17, 2026, for Emotion And Attention Aware Dynamic Learning System With Personalized Engagement Prediction And Ai-Driven Learner Motivation Optimization.
Inventor includes Dr Y. V. Sudha Devi, Assistant Professor Department Of English.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: Abstract The present invention discloses an Emotion and Attention Aware Dynamic Learning System the EmoLearn-Eng Framework for intelligent, real-time, personalized delivery of Engineering English instruction to engineering students. The framework integrates a five channel multimodal architecture capturing facial expression recognition, eye-gaze tracking, keystroke dynamics, text sentiment analysis, and behavioural engagement signals, fused into a unified Learner Affective Cognitive State Vector (LACSV) updated at one-second intervals. The LACSV is classified into seven affective engagement states and processed by a learner-specific LSTM-based module that forecasts a Disengagement Risk Score with five to fifteen minute prediction horizons. A Deep Q-Network reinforcement learning agent learns optimal motivational intervention policies from a twelve action space encompassing adaptive encouragement, difficulty modulation, gamification, and anxiety scaffolding. An adaptive content delivery module dynamically sequences Engineering English materials technical vocabulary, grammar, formal writing, reading comprehension, and technical report writing based on real time LACSV state and CEFR proficiency mapping. An Instructor Analytics Dashboard provides engagement heat maps, at risk learner identification, and AI-generated pedagogical recommendations, maximizing learner engagement and language skill acquisition in engineering higher education.
