The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An emotion-adaptive noise cancellation system for online communication is disclosed. A microphone input (100) captures raw speech together with ambient background noise. A pre-processing stage (102) digitises and frames the captured signal, and a feature extraction stage (104) derives acoustic features, including pitch, energy and frequency spectrum, from each frame. An emotion detection stage (106) classifies the speaker's emotional intensity from the extracted features, and an adaptive noise cancellation stage (108) dynamically adjusts the noise suppression strength according to the detected emotion, applying stronger suppression to calm speech and moderate suppression to emotionally intense speech so as to preserve tonal and pitch-related characteristics. The system outputs a clean, emotion-preserved speech signal (110) that retains the speaker's natural expressiveness while removing background noise, and is suitable for online education, telemedicine, virtual meetings, customer service and other real-time communication platforms.
