MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076741 A) filed by Ifet College Of Engineering on June 21, 2026, for Embedded Physiological And Visual Monitoring System For Real-Time Supervisory Assessment.
Inventors include Dr. M. Margarat; and Mr. K. Pragathesha Raaj.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An embedded physiological and visual monitoring system (100) for identifying abnormal physiological events associated with a monitored individual is disclosed. The system comprises a physiological response sensing module (102) including a skin conductance acquisition sensor (104) configured to acquire physiological response measurements, an embedded processing controller (106), a baseline calibration module (108) configured to establish an individual-specific physiological reference profile, a signal conditioning module (110), a rate-of-change analysis module (112), and an anomaly classification module (114) configured to detect abnormal physiological events. The system further comprises an image capture module (116), a subject detection and tracking module (118), a physiological-to-visual correlation module (120), a subject highlighting module (122), an alert generation module (124), and a communication interface module (126). The system associates detected physiological events with corresponding visually identified individuals and generates visual indications and supervisory alerts for real-time monitoring. The disclosed architecture enables continuous monitoring with reduced dependence on manual observation and supports centralized supervisory assessment.
