Inventors include Stephens, Jason; Smith, Jason, E.; and Zhang, Sanhong.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: In one form, an electrical termination assembly includes a first ceramic member, a second ceramic member secured to the first ceramic member, and at least one electrical component embedded between the first ceramic member and the second ceramic member. An electrical termination extends through a bore and into a recess of the first and second ceramic members and is in electrical contact with the electrical component. The electrical termination includes a rod disposed within the bore and a flange disposed within the recess. At least one interface member is disposed between the flange and the recess. The electrical termination and the interface member each define different materials having tailored coefficients of thermal expansion such that when the rod is in tension the first ceramic member and the second ceramic member are in compression.
