MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641105429 A) filed by Ifet College Of Engineering on September 02, 2026, for Embedded Animal Safety Monitoring And Emergency Response System.

Inventors include Mrs. S Saranya; Mr. R Swaitzer Joses; Vignesh S; Sankar P; and Thiyagarajan K S.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an embedded animal safety monitoring and emergency response system (100) comprising a camera module (102) for acquiring visual information of one or more animals and an embedded processing unit (104) for locally processing the visual information. An animal condition analysis module (106) determines an animal condition based on posture, movement pattern, inactivity duration, visible injury, and behavioural characteristics, and a condition classification module (108) classifies the determined condition as normal, warning, or critical. Upon determination of a critical condition, an emergency communication module (110) automatically transmits an alert to predefined rescue contacts. Upon determination of aggressive animal behaviour, the embedded processing unit (104) selectively activates a buzzer-based safety mechanism (112). The system (100) thereby integrates local visual processing, multi-parameter condition determination, classification, emergency communication, and condition-dependent local safety response within an embedded architecture.
