Abstract: Title: “ELECTRONIC SENSOR BASED SOLAR PV PANEL AUTOMATIC CLEANING SYSTEM” 7. ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an automated solar panel cleaning system (100) designed to maintain the efficiency and longevity of photovoltaic (PV) panels by removing dust, debris, and greasy layers. The system comprises a perforated water jet tube (102) connected to a 0.5 HP pump (106) for uniform water distribution, a BLDC motor-driven brush mechanism (108) mounted on a framed structure, and a belt drive system (110) for brush movement along vertical guide rails. An electronic auto-reversing system enables bi-directional cleaning cycles, while pulleys and a shaft (112), a roller-based slide system (114), and limit switches ensure smooth, precise, and damage-free operation. Horizontal gaps between panels are sealed with adhesive (116), and a manual cleaning mode allows operator control when required. A timer-based activation system initiates automated cleaning at predefined intervals. The system is constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials, providing safe, efficient, and consistent maintenance of solar PV panels, reducing manual labor and optimizing energy output.
