Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electronic safety actuator system for an elevator car or a counterweight comprising: a first electronic safety actuator comprising a first electromagnetic element configured to actuate a first safety brake depending on whether it is supplied with electric power or 10 not, and a first actuation detection switch configured to switch upon actuation of the first safety brake, and a second electronic safety actuator comprising a second electromagnetic element configured to actuate a second safety brake depending on whether it is supplied with electric power or not, and a second actuation detection switch configured to switch upon 15 actuation of the second safety brake. The first actuation detection switch is linked to the second electromagnetic element to control supply of electric power when switching, and the second actuation detection switch is linked to the first electromagnetic element to control supply of electric power when switching. The present disclosure further relates to an elevator car or a 20 counterweight for an elevator car comprising such an electronic safety actuator system.
