Abstract: An electronic key system 1 includes a mobile terminal M that outputs a key operation signal corresponding with a key permission of a digital key, and a controller 101 that controls an operation of an electric component provided in a vehicle based on an instruction of the key operation signal. The mobile terminal M has a screen region set to receive an operation by an occupant and display an operation button that prompts output of the key operation signal from the mobile terminal M. The display in the screen region varies between when the mobile terminal M is located in a first area (start area A2) within a first distance r2 from the vehicle and when the mobile terminal M is located outside of the first area (S113), and the operation button is displayed in the screen region when the mobile terminal M is located in the first area (S119).
