Abstract: An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise a display module, a processor, and a memory. The display module may obtain a user’s handwriting through a user input in a screen display off state. The processor may control the operation of the display module. The memory may be operatively connected to the processor and may include instructions. The memory may include a first handwriting memo and a second handwriting memo related to the handwriting obtained in the screen display off state. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the electronic device may generate the first handwriting memo and the second handwriting memo related to the handwriting obtained in the screen display off state as electronic texts. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the electronic device may store the electronic texts in the memory. When the instructions are executed by the processor, the electronic device may display the electronic text on the display module simultaneously with the first handwriting memo and the second handwriting memo. Various other embodiments are also possible.
