The instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the electronic device to: display, via the display, a still image including one or more image objects corresponding to text; acquire text information corresponding to the one or more image objects in the still image on the basis of an input for analyzing the still image being displayed; select a designated application corresponding to the still image from among a plurality of applications by using at least a portion of the text information; display, via the display, a screen including the still image and a visual object for launching the designated application; and, in response to an input related to the visual object, display a launch screen of the designated application via the display.
