Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may store instructions configured to: acquire audio data including first channel audio data and second channel audio data on the basis of an audio output event; operate to calculate a first value corresponding to the first channel audio data and a second value corresponding to the second channel audio data when an output channel for outputting the audio data is a mono channel; operate to calculate a third value corresponding to first mixed audio data obtained by mixing the first channel audio data and the second channel audio data when the first value or the second value satisfies a first specified condition; and invert the phase of the first channel audio data when the third value satisfies a second specified condition, and output, via an acoustic output module, second mixed audio data obtained by mixing the phase-inverted first channel audio data and the second audio data or transmit the second mixed audio data to an external acoustic output device via a communication module.
