Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device may comprise a processor and a memory for storing instructions. According to one embodiment, when executed by the processor, the instructions can cause the electronic device to: identify the similarity between a plurality of pixels that constitute an image; control an artificial intelligence model driving module on the basis of the identified similarity between the plurality of pixels so as to apply a plurality of filters related to image quality improvement of the image to at least some pixels that satisfy a designated similarity condition from among the plurality of pixels; and control the artificial intelligence model driving module so as to limit application of the plurality of filters to at least some other pixels that do not satisfy the designated similarity condition from among the plurality of pixels.
