Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device may cause a lock screen including a widget located between a first icon and a second icon to be displayed through a display in a locked state of the electronic device. The electronic device may obtain a notification from a second application while the lock screen is displayed. The electronic device may enlarge the widget to the position of the first icon at least partially on the basis of determining that the second application is related to the first icon, and display the notification through the widget. The electronic device may display the notification through the widget at least partially on the basis of determining that the second application is not related to the first icon and the second icon.
