Abstract: Provided are an electronic device, a method, and a storage medium for adjusting the brightness of a display. The electronic device comprises: a housing including a first housing and a second housing rotating with respect to a hinge; a display included in the first housing and the second housing, and foldable with respect to a boundary line between the first housing and the second housing; a processor; and a memory for storing instructions executed by the processor. The instructions stored in the memory instruct the electronic device to display a first image on a first display area included in the first housing and display a second image on a second display area included in the second housing. The instructions identify color values of the first display area and the second display area. The instructions instruct the electronic device to individually adjust the brightness of the first display area or the second display area when a difference between the identified color value of the first display area and the identified color value of the second display area is greater than or equal to a preset value.
