MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511022287 A) filed by Havells India Ltd. on March 12, 2025, for Electromagnetic Tripping Assembly For Single-Pole Neutral Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overcurrent Protection.
Inventors include Singh, Rajkumar; Sharma, Chahal; and Kamboj, Gaurav.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: An electromagnetic tripping assembly (100) for a single-pole neutral residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection is provided. The assembly (100) includes a bobbin (102) having an inner through hole. The assembly (100) includes an inner coil (106) wound on the bobbin (102), the inner coil (106) configured as a first electromagnetic tripping solenoid coil adapted to respond in an event of leakage current. Furthermore, the assembly (100) includes an outer coil (104) wound on the bobbin (102) and disposed over the inner coil (106), the outer coil (104) configured as a second electromagnetic tripping solenoid coil adapted to respond in an event of short circuit and instantaneous overcurrent. Additionally, the assembly (100) includes an outer yoke (116) arranged around bobbin (102) and surrounding outer coil (104), the outer yoke (116) being configured to provide a magnetic flux path for the inner coil (106) and the outer coil (104).
