Abstract: ABSTRACT ELECTROLYSIS-ASSISTED ANAEROBIC CO-DIGESTION FOR HYDROGEN-ENRICHED BIOGAS A method (800) of producing methane- enriched biogas is disclosed. An organic feedstock slurry is co-digested as a liquor (202) above a sludge bed (204) in a digester vessel (200). Liquor (202) withdrawn through a screen (304) into a side-loop (300) is electrolyzed in a unit (308) outside the vessel (200). The hydrogen is dosed through a diffuser (322) and throttled by a controller (412) on a sensed volatile fatty acid to alkalinity ratio.
