The electrochemical apparatus comprises an electrolyte, a separator, a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet; the electrolyte comprises a compound represented by formula (I); based on the mass of the electrolyte, the mass percentage content of the compound represented by formula (I) is A%, where 30=A=80; the separator comprises a porous substrate and a porous coating arranged on at least one side of the porous substrate, the porosity of the separator being 25%-35%. The present application regulates and controls the structure of the separator and components of the electrolyte and combines same, such that the OCPD cycle performance of the electrochemical apparatus is improved by means of the synergy of the separator and the electrolyte.
