Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for Electrocatalyst For Water Splitting And A Process For Preparation Thereof

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511018972 A) filed by Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research on March 03, 2025, for Electrocatalyst For Water Splitting And A Process For Preparation Thereof.

Inventors include Kaliaperumal Selvaraj; and Kailash Singh.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electro catalyst (NCP-NS) for water splitting and a process for preparation thereof. The present invention further provides a device for water splitting. The electro catalyst of formula I represented by NixCuyPz-NiaSb, is in an amorphous nature and has a dual performance activity i.e., works well in HER as well as OER reactions.
