Abstract: The invention herein and the embodiments thereof relate to a novel method and system for the eco-friendly treatment of different varieties of seeds with surface and volume electrical discharge plasma—it is also known as low-temperature plasma (LTP), cold plasma, dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma, non-thermal plasma (NTP) or atmospheric pressure plasma (APP) in prior art?for the purpose of: (a) improving the quality, viability, enhancing crop yield, germination rate and pest resistance of the seeds; (b) avoiding the use of chemicals, pesticides and inorganic fertilizers after the planting of such treated seeds; (c) achieving significant reduction in farming costs of plants and vegetations (including, tubers, rhizomes, bulbils and runners); and, (d) making more nutritional livestock feeds (with selected seeds) and edible seeds for human consumption.
