Abstract: ABSTRACT ELECTRIC VEHICLE HEATING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR 5 [Problem to be Solved] There are provided an electric vehicle heating apparatus and a control method therefor that can improve the responsiveness of an outlet air temperature by allowing the outlet air temperature to quickly and efficiently respond to change in outside air temperature, in-vehicle environment, or the like. [Solution] A heating apparatus 3 includes a heater core 31 that executes heat 10 exchange between air flowing inside a climate control case 11 and water heated by a water heater 32, a bypass passage 14 that bypasses the heater core 31, and an air mix door 13 that shifts between a high temperature position Ph for guiding the air flowing inside the climate control case 11 to the heater core 31 and a low temperature position Pc for guiding the air to the bypass passage 14. When a water 15 temperature difference dTw between a target water temperature Tw0 set based on a target outlet air temperature Ta0 and a current water temperature Tw1 is equal to or less than a lower limit threshold TH1, the air mix door 13 is controlled such that the air mix door 13 is stopped between the high temperature position Ph and the low temperature position Pc. 20 [Selected Drawing]
