Abstract: The present invention relates to an efficient and scalable toxic sewage gas detection system utilizing LoRa-based Internet of Things technology. The system comprises a gas sensing module, processing and control module, LoRa communication module, power supply arrangement, and remote monitoring arrangement. The gas sensing module is positioned at a sewage monitoring location and detects toxic gas conditions to generate corresponding sensor information. The processing and control module receives and processes the sensor information and prepares gas detection information for transmission. The LoRa communication module wirelessly transmits the processed information through a long-range communication network to the remote monitoring arrangement. The remote monitoring arrangement receives the transmitted information and enables observation of the detected sewage gas condition. Multiple monitoring locations may be provided, with each location comprising corresponding sensing, processing, communication, and power supply components. The scalable architecture facilitates distributed monitoring of sewage environments and enables continuous or periodic detection and remote observation of toxic gas conditions while reducing dependence on manual inspection of sewage monitoring locations.
