Abstract: An edible candle dessert formulation and a method for its preparation are disclosed. The formulation consists of 25% to 35% by weight of strawberry powder, 35% to 45% by weight of milk or condensed milk, 15% to 20% by weight of jaggery powder as a natural sweetener, and 5% to 10% by weight of an edible fat such as ghee, butter, or coconut oil, along with an edible food wick fashioned from a nut or dried fruit positioned at its center. The method involves heating the ghee, blending in the strawberry powder to remove lumps, adding the milk and jaggery powder under a low flame, and cooking for 4 to 5 minutes until thick. The resulting batter is poured into a pre-greased mold, fitted with the central edible wick, cooled at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes, and refrigerated for 1 to 2 hours to hold shape. The resulting dessert is completely free of paraffin wax, synthetic dyes, and artificial scents, providing a safe, consumable novelty display rich in vitamin C, polyphenols, and potassium to support heart health and immunity, and capable of being gently warmed to simulate a melting candle effect during gourmet presentations.
