Abstract: ABSTRACT Edge-Intelligent Predictive Monitoring and Optimization System for Renewable Energy Microgrids The present invention relates to an edge-intelligent predictive monitoring and optimization system (100) for decentralized renewable energy microgrids. The system comprises distributed ESP32-based sensor nodes (111–11n) configured to monitor solar photovoltaic generation (171), a battery bank (172), AC/DC loads (173) and operating parameters including voltage, current, temperature, light intensity and load status. The sensor nodes communicate through an MQTT communication network (150) with a Raspberry Pi 5-based edge gateway or Grid Brain (120). The Grid Brain performs local data acquisition, aggregation, preprocessing, machine-learning based prediction, anomaly detection, energy analysis, local storage and alert generation. A Flask API server (131) and MongoDB database (132) provide optional backend synchronization, while a dashboard (141), mobile interface (142), SMS alerts (143) and multilingual voice alerts (144) provide user interaction. The system supports offline-first operation, predictive maintenance and intelligent energy optimization without requiring continuous internet connectivity. Figure-1
