Abstract: An edge folding device for metal sheets, comprising a platform 1 installed with a chamber 2 to be placed with a metallic sheet, a telescopically operated gripper 3 arranged on the platform 1 for inserting edge of the sheet between a pair of vertical extendable plates 4 installed on the platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 mounted on the platform 1 for detecting dimensions of the sheet, a pair of motorized sliders 6 installed between the plates 4 and platform 1 for translating the plates 4 towards/away from each other, a vertical rectangular member 7 connected with the platform 1 via a pair of hydraulic rods 8 to apply an optimum pressure on the sheet in view of folding the edge of the sheet and a speaker 9 mounted on the platform 1 for notifying the user.
