Abstract: The present invention discloses an edge-based dual-stream classroom engagement monitoring system (100) for simultaneously analysing student engagement and teacher enthusiasm in a physical classroom. The system (100) comprises a classroom image-capturing device (101), a video capture module (102), a frame conditioning module (103), a face detection module (104), a spatial actor-partitioning module (105), a student analysis branch (106), a teacher analysis branch (111), a timetable- gated activation module (122), a session-type adaptive aggregation module (116), a recommendation generation module (117), an aggregate-only storage module (118), and a role-aware dashboard module (119). The student analysis branch (106) generates a student engagement signal (133), while the teacher analysis branch (111) generates a teacher enthusiasm signal (134). Real-time analysis is permitted only when faculty, subject, section, and time-slot data match an institutional timetable database (131). The aggregate-only storage module (118) stores only a derived analytics record (130), thereby preventing storage of raw video or facial embeddings. The system (100) generates teacher and HOD dashboards (120, 121). (Accompanied Figure No. 1-4)
