Abstract: Edge-AI Neuroresilience System for Real-Time Cognitive Support in Extreme Isolation Environments This invention describes a non- invasive, autonomous neuroresilience system engineered for continuous cognitive monitoring and adaptive neuromodulation in extreme isolation environments, including long-duration space missions, polar research stations, and deep-sea habitats. The system integrates a dry-electrode EEG interface, an embedded edge-computing inference engine utilizing a pre-trained convolutional neural network (CNN), a circadian-synchronized transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) module, and a multimodal sensory feedback interface. Neurophysiological anomalies such as cognitive drift, emotional flattening, and sleep disruption are detected in real time and autonomously corrected through targeted stimulation and emotionally anchored sensory cues. A closed-loop therapeutic feedback mechanism continuously reassesses cognitive response, enabling dynamic adaptation without human intervention or network connectivity. Housed within a radiation-hardened, helmet-compatible enclosure, the system operates independently of cloud infrastructure and is optimized for power efficiency, data privacy, and mission compliance. The invention provides a self-contained platform for preserving cognitive function and psychological stability in bandwidth-restricted, environmentally constrained deployments.
