Abstract: The present invention relates to an EcoSmart Swastha Chulha (100), an intelligent biomass-based cooking apparatus configured to enhance user safety and improve cooking conditions through real-time environmental monitoring. The cooking apparatus comprises a liquid crystal display (LCD) module (110), a potentiometer (120), a temperature sensor (130), a DFPlayer Mini audio module (140), a smoke sensor module (150), an Arduino Nano microcontroller board (160), a 5V DC fan (170), and an LED indicator (180). The Arduino Nano microcontroller board (160) receives input signals from the temperature sensor (130) and smoke sensor module (150), processes the received data, and compares the sensed values with predetermined threshold values. Based on the processed data, the microcontroller automatically controls the LCD module (110) to display operating parameters, activates the DFP layer Mini audio module (140) to provide prerecorded voice alerts, operates the 5V DC fan (170) for thermal management, and controls the LED indicator (180) to provide visual status indications under normal and hazardous operating conditions. The disclosed invention operates without requiring internet connectivity or cloud-based infrastructure, thereby making it suitable for deployment in rural and resource- constrained environments. The invention enhances user safety, promotes cleaner biomass cooking practices, and provides an economical and reliable monitoring system for traditional biomass cook stoves.
