MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621078620 A) filed by Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology, Surat on June 25, 2026, for Eco-Friendly Propane Air Conditioning System For Pure Air Supply And Improved Human Comfort.
Inventor includes Kuwar, Yogendra V..
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an air-conditioning apparatus (100). The apparatus (100) circulates refrigerant through a compressor (102), where pressure and temperature increase before heat rejection within a condenser (104). One or more refrigerant flow control valves (120) direct refrigerant through a liquid line suction line heat exchanger (110) and toward a thermostatic expansion valve (106) for pressure reduction. One or more air flow control valves (122) admit fresh air, recirculated air, or mixed air through a dual-bed air dehumidifier (112) and a HEPA filter (114) before cooling by an evaporator (108). The apparatus (100) leverages a waste-heat-driven dual-bed dehumidification arrangement that utilizes compressor-discharge thermal energy for continuous regeneration of alternating moisture- absorbing beds while maintaining uninterrupted air dehumidification. Such integration reduces latent heat load on the evaporator (108), improves refrigeration efficiency, enhances humidity control, lowers energy consumption, and delivers cleaner, conditioned air with improved indoor comfort.
