Abstract: The aim of the present invention is to develop the eco-friendly molluscicidal pesticide drug of bioactive zoochemical from the marine crab Charybdis feriata shell against adult freshwater snails. Charybdis feriata shell methanolic extract had a potential molluscicidal activity on freshwater snail Bellamya bengalensis (LC50 = 47.79 mg/L) with a correlation statistic that was strongly agreed upon (R² = 0.96). In vivo biochemical response of AChE, ACP, and ALP levels was significantly reduced compared to the control (P 0.05), whose response to the presence of bioactive zoochemicals was inhibited to AChE, ACP, and ALP hydrolysis activity, with the result of stimulating the Mollusca toxicity. Furthermore, indoor spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum) are not adversely affected by the 1/10 LC50 dose of Charybdis feriata shell methanolic extract, as there is no phytotoxicity, which leads to the usage of greenhouse snail control. Overall, the edible crab Charybdis feriata shell was a large-scale, eco-friendly molluscicide and a novel approach to pesticide drug development against herbivorous mollusca species with an alternative to commercial synthetic molluscicides. The invention scientifically claims a bioactive zoochemical source of Charybdis feriata shell methanolic extract, a remarkable drug of snail AChE and ACP/ALP inhibitors for greenhouse application for snail control and reduced destruction of whole crops and colonizing snails. Keywords: Eco-friendly molluscicidal, Bioactive zoochemical, Charybdis feriata shell, Snail AChE and ACP/ALP inhibitor, Snail control.
