Abstract: ABSTRACT ECO-BRICK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING USING CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE AND MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE-DERIVED MATERIAL The present disclosure provides a method (200) of manufacturing an eco-brick. The method (200) comprises processing (202) construction and demolition waste to obtain a processed construction and demolition waste fraction, and processing (204) municipal solid waste- derived material to obtain a processed municipal solid waste- derived fraction. The method (200) further comprises forming (206) a brick-forming mixture by mixing the processed construction and demolition waste fraction and the processed municipal solid waste-derived fraction with cement and water, wherein the processed construction and demolition waste- derived fraction and the processed municipal solid waste-derived fraction are provided as co- primary aggregate materials. The method (200) further comprises molding (208) the brick- forming mixture in a brick-shaped mold to obtain a molded brick, and curing (210) the molded brick under non-kiln curing conditions to obtain the eco-brick without high- temperature kiln firing.
