MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641123385 A) filed by Psna College Of Engineering And Technology on October 15, 2026, for Echogrid Ai Hybird Energy Harvesting System Using Urban Noise, Vehicle Vibrations And Solar Energy For Cities.
Inventors include Ms. Padma Priya N; Alaguprasath A; Deva Sahayaraj J; Balanageshwari V; and Devaki P.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION ECHOGRID Al HYBRID ENERGY HARVESTING SYSTEM USING NOISE, VEHICLE VIBRATIONS AND SOLAR ENERGY FOR CITIES An ECHOGrid Al Intelligent Hybrid Energy Harvesting System for smart-city applications is disclosed. The system integrates acoustic energy harvesting from urban noise, vibration energy harvesting from vehicles, and solar photovoltaic energy harvesting to gcncrate electrical energy from multiple ambient sources. The harvested energy is conditioned, managed through an intelligent hybrid power management system, and stored in an energy storage unit for supplying selected electrical loads. The system incorporates an intelligent control unit and an artificial intelligence or machine learning module to monitor energy generation, traffic activity, noise levels, solar availability, consumption, and storage conditions. Using real-time and historical data, the module Predicts energy availability and optimizes source selection according to demand and environmental conditions. A communication interface transmits generation, storage, consumption, and system health data to a remote monitoring platform. Distributed ECHOGrid units can power or supplement street lighting, environmental sensors, traffic monitoring, surveillance, and IoT devices, supporting sustainable urban infrastructure.
