Abstract: The PulmoAlert — Smart PE Risk Detection Patch is a biomedical innovation designed to support early detection of pulmonary_ embolism_(F_ELrisk_througla_continuous_monitoring _ of vital signs. Pulmonary embolism is a critical condition that often goes undiagnosed in its early stages due to overlapping symptoms with other respiratory and cardiac disorders. The proposed device integrates a chest patch with ECG and respiratory rate sensors and an earlobe clip Sp02 sensor, to capture patient vitals in real time. The signals are processed by an ESP32 microcontroller, which performs signal acquisition, preprocessing and wireless transmission to a cloud-based machine learning model. The XGBoost algorithm is employed to analyze multiple parameters simultaneously, enabling accurate identification of abnormal patterns associated with PE risk. The system generates alerts via a mobile application or hospital dashboard, ensuring timely medical intervention. The device is designed to be portable, non-invasive, cost-effective, and user-friendly, making it suitable for hospital wards, clinics, and home-based monitoring. The overall workflow includes data acquisition, signal preprocessing, machine learning analysis, risk detection, and alert display. The innovation demonstrates how IoT and AT can be combined with biomedical sensors to create a practical screening-support system. This project highlights the potential of low-cost biomedical engineering solutions (ti-5000 prototype range) to improve patient outcomes, reduce clinical workload and make advanced monitoring more accessible. While the device is not intended to provide a definitive diagnosis, it serves as an effective preliminary screening tool to assist healthcare professionals in identifying patients at risk of pulmonary embolism
