The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: EARLY IDENTIFICATION OF CARDIAC COMPLICATIONS USING DEEP LEARNING AND GNN The titled invention discloses a wearable cardiac monitoring system for predicting the - risk of second cardiac arrest in elderly patients. The system comprises a wearable sensor unit configured to continuously collect physiological parameters including I 0 electrocardiogram (ECG), heart rate, oxygen saturation (Sp02 ), and blood pressure. The hybrid deep learning framework (4) uses graph Neural Network (GNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Networks to enhance early detection. GNNs are used to shape the relationship among clinical and physiological variables, while LSTM capture temporal dynamics in monitoring data of the patient. A graph correction strategy is 15 used to improve efficiency while preserving the predictive performance, the model is trained on a large and diverse patient dataset, demonstrating robust generalization across different clinical condition. The microcontroller (5) manages system operations and executes the predictive model in real time. The system includes a real-time alert mechanism (6) for generating notifications upon detection of high-risk conditions, a 20 communication module (7) for wireless data transmission, a power management unit (8) for efficient energy utilization, and a user interface for monitoring. By making the system respond earlier to clinical emergency, personalized monitoring, and more efficient use of health resources, this work contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 9 25 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
