Abstract: Varicose vein is a vascular disorder which was caused due to long term standing and walking. This disease is often undetected in its early stage due to lack of awareness and limited access in rural areas. The quality of patient life is affected by delayed diagnosis which may cause ulcers, pain, swelling, and skin discoloration. The proposed solution provides the integrated, automated and cost affordable system which is used to detect the varicose vein early using machine learning techniques. The proposed system consists of camera module, preprocessing unit, machine learning classifier and a web based interface. ESP32-CAM module is a microcontroller based camera system which acquires captures varicose vein regions. The captured image is preprocessed by using the filtering techniques, resizing, and normalization. The backend system processes the received images using a trained machine learning model. The trained model analyzes the vein patterns and generates prediction results indicating the possible presence of varicose vein abnormalities. The analyzed results are displayed in real time through a web application, enabling quick, accessible, and user-friendly diagnosis. The proposed solution is cost- effective, portable, and suitable for deployment in resource constrained and rural healthcare environments, reducing the need for manual intervention and specialized medical equipment. In addition, the system can securely store captured data and prediction results for future medical analysis and patient monitoring. By leveraging IoT and artificial intelligence technologies, the proposed model enhances early diagnosis, supports preventive healthcare, and improves accessibility to vascular disease screening for a wider population.
