Abstract: The E-Purohit BUT: Monthly Scheduled Puja & Ceremony with Sound is an intelligent automated devotional device designed to perform religious rituals at predefined dates and times without continuous human involvement. The system integrates a programmable microcontroller, Real-Time Clock (RTC) module, audio playback unit, amplifier, speaker system, and electromechanical actuation mechanisms into a compact embedded platform. Users can schedule monthly pujas, festival ceremonies, or special devotional events through a control interface or optional mobile application. At the scheduled time, the device automatically initiates devotional chants, mantras, and ceremonial music while simultaneously activating ritual components such as automatic bell ringing, diya (lamp) lighting, and incense activation. The synchronization of sound and physical ritual actions ensures a complete ceremonial experience comparable to traditional manual performance. The invention addresses the growing need for spiritual convenience in modern lifestyles, where individuals may be unable to perform rituals regularly due to time constraints, distance, or lack of availability of priests. The system is designed to be energy-efficient, costeffective, and scalable for both household and temple applications.
