Inventors include Dr. Srinivas Samala; Dr. Ch. Rajendra Prasad; and Yalabaka Srikanth.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: A dynamic spectrum allocation system for a cognitive radio network, comprises of a spectrum sensing module 101 configured to monitor a radio environment and generate real-time spectrum, a knowledge base 102 configured to store historical spectrum occupancy data, an artificial intelligence (AI) processing unit 103 configured to apply at least one machine learning model to the real-time spectrum occupancy data and the historical spectrum occupancy data, a dynamic spectrum allocation controller 104 configured to assign one or more frequency bands and related transmission parameters to at least one cognitive radio transceiver based on the spectrum allocation decisions, a compliance and interference management unit 105 configured to validate the spectrum allocation decisions against regulatory constraints, a feedback module 106 configured to receive transmission quality data from the cognitive radio transceiver and provide the transmission quality data to the AI processing unit 103 to enable adaptive refinement of subsequent spectrum allocation decisions.
