Abstract: Abstract Dynamic Leather Fatigue Prediction and Quality Assessment System A dynamic leather fatigue prediction and quality assessment system for evaluating degradation characteristics of leather materials is disclosed. The system comprises a flex sensing unit, a softness sensing unit, a crack detection sensing unit, a processing unit, a display unit, and a wireless communication module. Sensor data associated with flexibility loss, softness variation, and crack formation are acquired to generate a Dynamic Leather Fatigue Index (DLFI) representing the overall fatigue condition of the leather material. A Crack Propagation Severity Index (CPSI) is further determined to quantify structural deterioration. A sensor confidence-based decision engine dynamically assigns weighting factors to sensor inputs, thereby improving assessment accuracy. A Remaining Useful Life Prediction Engine analyzes current and historical measurements to estimate future degradation and service life. The generated fatigue indices, quality classifications, and predictive outputs are displayed locally and transmitted to a remote monitoring platform for real-time monitoring and quality management.
