MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641110541 A) filed by Saveetha Engineering College on September 15, 2026, for Dynamic Eco-Incentive Pricing Engine Based On Consumer Recycling Behavior.
Inventor includes Dr. S. Catherine Rex.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a Dynamic Eco-Incentive Pricing Engine Based on Consumer Recycling Behavior for dynamically determining incentives associated with consumer recycling activities. The system receives recycling transaction data comprising consumer identification, material type, quantity, quality, contamination, collection location, and transaction time, and processes current and historical recycling information to generate a Consumer Recycling Behavior Score. An Eco-Value Assessment Module evaluates the environmental and material significance of the recycling activity. A Dynamic Incentive Pricing Module combines the behavioral score, material quality, eco-value, historical incentive response, and operational parameters to calculate a dynamically adjustable Eco-Incentive Value. A Behavioral Response Feedback Module monitors subsequent consumer behavior and updates the consumer profile for subsequent incentive calculations. The system may further incorporate temporal and spatial adjustments, incentive budget constraints, predictive analytics, and abnormal activity detection. The invention thereby provides an adaptive feedback mechanism that converts recycling behavior into a dynamic incentive-pricing decision, encouraging consistent and higher-quality recycling participation while improving the efficiency of incentive allocation and supporting sustainable resource recovery.
