Abstract: ABSTRACT DYNAMIC CONFIGURABLE ALERTS FOR AUTOMOTIVE CLUSTERS A system for dynamic configurable alerts 200 in an automotive instrument cluster, the system 200 comprising: a cloud platform 202 configured to transmit an alert configuration file 120, 220 to a vehicle via Configuration Over-The-Air (COTA). A telemetry gateway 112, 212 is provided in the vehicle and is configured to receive and store the alert configuration file 120, 220 in local storage. An alert framework service 102 is configured to analyse the alert configuration file 120, 220 and monitor real-time vehicle signals to detect one or more trigger conditions. The alert framework service 102 is configured to dynamically trigger alerts based on the alert configuration file 120, 220, the alert configuration file 120, 220 being decoupled from core vehicle software.
