MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511021681 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on March 11, 2025, for Dynamic Acoustic Optimization System (daos).

Inventors include Ms. Kamalinder Kaur; Dr. Ishpreet Singh Virk; and Dr. Renu Puri.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The Dynamic Acoustic Optimization System (DAOS) enables real-time acoustic environment management through an integrated network of sensors, processors, and speakers. The system collects environmental and crowd data via infrared/ultrasonic sensors, microphones, and IoT wearables. Its dual-layer processing architecture combines edge units for immediate local adjustments with cloud-based predictive analytics. The sound delivery system features directional speakers that create independent acoustic zones, complemented by dynamic noise masking technology that generates counter frequencies to minimize ambient noise. An AI-driven decision-making unit continuously refines sound adjustments through machine learning models. User experience is enhanced through a mobile interface offering personalized acoustic profiles. The system is particularly effective in venues like concert halls, where it independently adjusts volume levels across multiple seating zones based on real-time occupancy data. FIG. 1
