Abstract: ABSTRACT The DustAlert Floor Cleaner is a smart household cleaning device designed to automatically detect and remove dust and debris from floor surfaces only when cleaning is required. Conventional vacuum cleaners and robotic cleaners operate on scheduled cycles or manual control, often consuming energy even when floors are already clean. This leads to inefficient power usage and unnecessary mechanical wear. The DustAlert Floor Cleaner overcomes these drawbacks by incorporating real-time dust detection sensors with intelligent activation control. The system continuously monitors floor surfaces using optical and particulate sensors capable of identifying dust accumulation levels. When the concentration of dust exceeds a predefined threshold, the cleaning mechanism is automatically activated. The device employs a compact suction motor combined with a micro fiber rolling brush to effectively capture dust, fine particles, and small debris. Once the surface is sufficiently clean, the system switches off automatically, conserving energy and extending device lifespan. The cleaner features a lightweight, low-profile design that allows smooth movement across various flooring types such as tiles, wood, and laminate surfaces. Built-in obstacle detection prevents collisions with furniture and walls. The DustAlert Floor Cleaner supports sustainable household maintenance by minimizing unnecessary cleaning cycles while maintaining hygienic living spaces. By providing intelligent, need-based cl~ning, t~~vention improves efficiency, reduces electricity consumption, and offers a con~~~ed solution for modem homes.
