The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable wound-management BioPatch (114) for condition-responsive management of chronic diabetic ulcers. The BioPatch (114) comprises a protective breathable layer (102), a self-healing nano-ionic conductive hydrogel layer (104), a dual-threshold inflammatory sensing layer (106), a therapeutic nano-reservoir layer (108), a wound-contact interface (110), and a nano-fluidic therapeutic gate (112). The sensing layer (106) responds to reactive oxygen species and pH conditions of a wound. Simultaneous satisfaction of predefined reactive oxygen species and pH thresholds causes an ionic conductivity transition in the hydrogel layer (104), thereby activating the nano-fluidic therapeutic gate (112) to enable localized release of a therapeutic agent from the nano-reservoir layer (108). Reversible ionic interactions within the hydrogel layer (104) enable restoration of structural integrity and conductive pathways following mechanical disruption. The BioPatch (114) provides dual-threshold-responsive therapeutic delivery for chronic diabetic wound management.
