MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641113600 A) filed by Sr University on September 22, 2026, for Dual-Mode Wireless Power Transfer System For Charging Electric Vehicles.

Inventors include Syed Mudassir Zeeshan; and Dr. Ch Hussaian Basha.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A dual-mode wireless power transfer system for charging electric vehicles, comprising a ground assembly transmitter 101 configured to generate a high-frequency alternating magnetic field by near-field magnetic resonant coupling, at least one transmitting coil 102 electrically connected to the ground assembly transmitter 101, a vehicle assembly receiver 103 for inductive coupling with the transmitting coil 102, a rectifier circuit 104 coupled to the receiving coil 105 and configured to convert induced alternating current into direct current, a voltage regulator 106 coupled to the rectifier circuit 104 and configured to provide regulated DC power to a vehicle electrical load, the system is selectively operable in a static wireless power transfer (SWPT) mode when the vehicle is stationary over the transmitting coil 102, and in a dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) mode when the vehicle is in motion over a plurality of road-embedded transmitting coils 102.
