Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual-mode electric two-wheeled vehicle with a solenoid-actuated multi-speed transmission for load carrying and commuting. The vehicle comprises a reinforced structural frame, a rechargeable battery pack, an electric motor, a motor controller, a multi-speed gearbox, a rear wheel drive arrangement, a handlebar-mounted rider interface, and a shift-by-wire gear shifting system. The electric motor transmits torque to the gearbox through a primary drive, and the gearbox transmits selected torque and speed to the rear wheel through a secondary drive. Lower gear ratios provide high torque for cargo movement, while higher gear ratios provide efficient unloaded commuting. The gear shifting system includes solenoid actuator pairs mounted adjacent to a gearbox selector arm and energized through rider-operated upshift and downshift switches. The invention enables a single electric two-wheeled platform to perform both delivery and personal commuting functions while reducing mechanical linkage complexity, energy consumption, and operational cost.
