Abstract: The present invention relates to a dual-mode container closure system configured to selectively support tamper-evident closure and reusable secure closure through a common container body (1) having a universal rim configuration (2). The universal rim configuration (2) comprises vertically separated locking zones configured to selectively cooperate with structurally distinct lid structures including a tamper-evident lid (6) and a reusable lid (15). The tamper-evident lid (6) comprises a reclosable snap-fit portion (7), one or more breakable bridges (12), and a sealing stripe (13) configured to provide indication of prior opening, whereas the reusable lid (15) is configured for releasable engagement with the universal rim configuration (2). Following opening, the container body (1) remains capable of temporary reclosure or selective engagement with the reusable lid (15), thereby supporting continued usability through alternative closure modes without structural modification of the container body.
