Abstract: Disclosed is a dual-material ultrasound-compatible patient gown comprising a front imaging portion formed from a latex-based material, a back coverage portion formed from non-woven polyester or polypropylene fabric, a neck opening, sleeve portions, and a central back seam. The front imaging portion has a thickness of 0.15 mm to 0.2 mm and is positioned to cover an abdomen, pelvis, and lower torso region of a patient so that an ultrasound probe contacts the front imaging portion during imaging. The back coverage portion is joined to side regions of the front imaging portion and maintains posterior coverage during patient positioning. The central back seam comprises loose stitching extending vertically along the back coverage portion to permit wearing, removal, and size adjustment without exposing the front imaging portion.
